Those who like to look good all know that modern fashion is controlled by labels – it’s not what you’re wearing but “who” you’re wearing. And that’s where most people are wrong – because it doesn’t matter if you’re wearing labeled clothing or not. You don’t need designer clothes to look your best, and anyone who thinks so is wrong. The only reason clothes have labels is so companies can charge you much more than they ever should, and the sooner you realize this, the sooner you’ll be able to save gaping amounts of money when you’re shopping for clothes.
Think about it this way – you could either buy a “label” tuxedo with everything: cummerbund, cufflinks, etc. and pay way too much. Or, you could buy them all separate: cummerbunds, cufflinks, etc. and look exactly the same. There may be a difference when wearing label casual clothing, but if it’s something like a tuxedo, could you tell the difference between a label cummerbund and a regular cummerbund? I didn’t think so. The only difference is the price tag, and you really shouldn’t be paying that much for a cummerbund in the first place – so why would you?
There are definitely alternatives to buying designer and label clothing – especially with fancy garments like cummerbunds and ties and such. You could buy your cummerbunds and ties from Discount Quality Ties (www.discount-quality-ties.co.uk), and save yourself quite a bit of money. You’ll also be saving time by not shopping at a designer/label store, because, it’s a hassle to make your way to one when you can just shop online. And in the end, do you think anyone would be able to tell the difference between two cummerbunds – a designer one and one that doesn’t have a label? They definitely cannot.
