There are plenty of pros and cons when planning a wedding or special occasion with a wedding planner – namely, your wedding would be much better, yet the cost of a wedding planner is something only affordable to those who are willing to spend a few thousand dollars, maybe even more. But, if you were to take charge of your special occasion, and plan it almost exclusively online, you’d be able to not only save a bunch of money, but have total control of your wedding, and what’s going to happen. And in that aspect, your wedding would be just as great as it would with a professional wedding planner.
It doesn’t matter if your wedding planner selects pink ties for your groomsmen, or if you select the pink ties – it’s the same in the end, right? While you might be saving time on things that seem menial, you’re really missing out on being involved with one of the most important events of your life. So it actually does matter if you want to wear a pink tie, and you go out and buy it, rather than your wedding planner taking care of the pink ties or pink tie.
It’s much better to be a lot more involved with your wedding. You get more of what you put in, and if you have a wedding planner calling all of the shots, you’re definitely missing out on something you could be very involved with. And what else are you doing? Why shouldn’t you be involved with the wedding planning process? If you want your groomsmen to have pink ties, then you should plan it. Don’t let someone else. If you want to wear a pink tie (being the groom), then you should order the pink tie (and check with the spouse first, always).
